How to build market trust in lithium primary batteries through strict testing

2025 03/26

The safety of lithium primary batteries directly affects the reliability of terminal equipment. We use internationally certified quality control systems, scientific thermal runaway protection mechanisms and third-party insurance guarantees to reduce customer risks with measured data and quality assurance commitments.

1. Quality control system: full-process verification under international standards
In the field of battery manufacturing, the strictness of quality control directly determines the market adaptability of products. We follow the highest standard IATF 16949 system in the automotive industry and incorporate PPAP into the core process, covering the full chain verification from raw materials to factory delivery.

Application cases of PPAP process:
Design verification: 18 documents need to be submitted during the new product development phase to ensure that the design meets customer safety requirements.
Process control: 100% data traces are completed for equipment parameters, material batches, etc. before mass production to achieve process traceability.

Accelerated aging test:
Test purpose: Simulate battery life attenuation and safety performance under extreme environments .
Actual test data: A third-party laboratory report in 2023 showed that after 1,000 hours of accelerated aging, the battery capacity decay rate did not exceed 8%, far below the industry average of 15%; there was no leakage or bulging.

2. Failure analysis: from principle design to risk protection
Even if the probability is low, thermal runaway is still the biggest safety hazard of lithium primary batteries. We achieve double protection through hardware protection and insurance coverage to protect customers from potential risks.

Thermal runaway protection mechanism:
Technical principle: When the internal temperature of the battery exceeds 130°C or the current increases abnormally, the CID mechanism automatically fuses the current path and cuts off energy release.
Independent test results in 2022 showed that the explosion accident rate of batteries equipped with CID dropped to 0.002% in simulated thermal runaway experiments.
